Emily Shapiro, LMFT, MSEd

Clinical Supervisor
(she/her/hers)
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I hold a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northcentral University as well as a Masters in Education from Bank Street College of Education and an ABT degree in English Literature from the Hebrew University. I work with couples and families, and with individuals of all ages. I have a special interest in ADHD as it impacts individuals and relationships.

My approach to therapy is deeply relational, strengths based, and client-centered. I approach therapy as a collaboration: I bring my specialized understanding of human development and relationships, while you bring your knowledge of yourself, your history, your environment and your relationships. Together we create an understanding of your situation, and of your wishes and goals, and help you see your way forward while removing obstacles along the way.
