Provides Individual and Couples Therapy to Teen and Adults
Hey there, I’m Taylor (he/him), a queer-identified Mental Health Counselor-LP, born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. I earned my MA in Mental Health Counseling at the City College of New York and my BA in Psychology, with a minor in Neuroscience, from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals from all walks of life—ranging in age from 18 to 78—including many in the LGBTQIA+ community, BIPOC clients, veterans, and individuals experiencing housing insecurity. No matter who you are or where you come from, my goal is to offer a space where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely heard.
My approach to counseling is integrative and flexible, always tailored to your unique needs. I often draw from mindfulness-based CBT, person-centered, and attachment-focused therapies, while grounding my work in a systems and feminist framework that honors how external factors shape our inner worlds. In our work together, we’ll address not just what’s happening right now, but also the deeper patterns and experiences that have shaped your journey. We’ll set realistic, manageable goals—because lasting change begins with small, consistent steps.
Outside of therapy, I believe deeply in finding joy in the everyday moments—like sunlight on your face, a cool breeze through an open window, or sharing a simple smile with someone you care about. I also believe that laughter and tears are equally vital parts of being human. As your therapist, I bring my realness, warmth, humor, and life experience into the room. Whatever you’re facing—anxiety, grief, a major life transition—you don’t have to face it alone. I’m here to walk alongside you, and to remind you that healing, growth, and brighter days are absolutely possible.
