Eliza Philbin, MFT-LP
she/her/hers
Psychotherapist
I’m Eliza, and I believe that everyone carries a story worth listening to, and that being truly heard is one of the most powerful experiences we can offer each other. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and my graduate degree in Family Therapy from Mercer University. I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, obsessive thought patterns, body image concerns, relationship challenges, and life transitions.
My Approach
I bring a warm, collaborative energy to therapy and believe deeply in my clients' ability to create lasting change. I take time to understand each person's full story, paying attention to patterns and context before addressing the issue at hand. Together, we explore thoughts and feelings and set goals for growth. I draw from attachment theory, family systems, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help clients heal old hurts and build relationships that feel safe and lasting, so they can move through life's challenges with greater closeness and resilience.
What To Expect
My style combines compassion and steadiness, creating a space where clients feel grounded enough to face what feels overwhelming. I'm active and engaged in the therapeutic process, known for supporting clients through hard moments while gently helping them see where they're stuck. I'm passionate about helping clients move forward with clarity, confidence, and a renewed sense of hope.
