Psychotherapist
I received an M.A dual degree in Mental Health Counseling (MHC) and Couples and Family Therapy (MFT) from William James College in Newton, MA. I received my BFA in drama from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. While pursuing my master’s degree, I interned at both Mclean Hospital’s The Waverley program in Belmont, MA and at Arbour Counseling Services in Boston. I work with adults and couples from a wide range of backgrounds, cultures, ages, sexual orientations, family systems and relationship dynamics.
My Approach
My approach is eclectic and utilize a range of therapeutic modalities to best support each client’s unique needs, including Emotion-Focused Therapy, Gestalt therapy, Family Systems, CBT, and Psychodynamic approaches. By integrating these methods, I tailor sessions to promote growth, healing, and resilience. In our work together, I offer a supportive, non-judgmental and reflective space where you can slow down, process your experiences, and strengthen your sense of self while navigating the complexities of everyday life.
What To Expect
As a first-generation American, I often approach therapy through a multigenerational lens. My background in the arts also allows for creative, out-of-the-box approaches when they feel supportive and meaningful. My hope is that you leave each session feeling heard, understood, and empowered to pursue a healthy, fulfilling life.
