Bryan Omar Jimenez, LMSW

he/they
Psychotherapist

Hello, I’m Bryan, a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in New York with an MSW from Fordham University and a BA from SUNY Purchase. I have experience supporting youth facing anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges. My clinical approach is strength-based and collaborative, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to promote self-awareness, skill development and emotional regulation. I also specialize working with the LGBTQIA+ community, offering an affirming and supportive space for individuals exploring gender identity, sexuality and mental health concerns related to queer identity. My practice is grounded in cultural humility, inclusivity and a commitment to foster resilience and personal growth.

My Approach

My approach to therapy is deeply rooted in a strength-based perspective, combined with techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I believe that everyone has unique strengths and resources, and I strive to help my clients recognize and use these qualities to support their growth and healing. I am highly collaborative in my work and encourage clients to be active participants in their care, ensuring that our therapeutic process is truly a partnership. My goal is to create a space where you feel empowered, engaged, and supported throughout your journey.

What To Expect

When we work together, you’ll find I’m warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I create a safe space for open conversation, move at your pace, and use humor and empathy to support your growth. My goal is for you to feel truly heard, empowered, and an active part of the process.
