Clinical Psychotherapist
I am a licensed mental health counselor in NY state. I earned my undergraduate degree from Rutgers University in psychology and sociology, and my Masters degree in mental health counseling at Pace University. My clinical work is grounded in a deep commitment to serving others, shaped by my time in the nonprofit sector working with at-risk youth and in community mental health settings. I specialize in working with young adults and individuals navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, and trauma. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and trauma-informed—aimed at creating a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their experiences, build resilience, and move toward meaningful change.
My Approach
When working with clients, I strive to maintain a safe and transparent environment in which the client feels heard, seen, and supported. I do my best to maintain a person-centered approach to learn and understand individuals as they are. I hope to develop and maintain trust in the therapeutic relationship, for I truly believe the relationship is what heals and drives progress in the therapeutic space. I do my best to learn about the person as a whole being as well as the parts they bring to each session.
What To Expect
I am personable and transparent in the therapeutic space. When we work together, I provide space for openness and acceptance. I want to learn about who you are, where you've been, and where you want to go. As I gather information on who you are, I can gain a better understanding of *your* rhythm. I share my insights as they come to me in a gentle manner if the moment calls, but I can also be direct should you need that kind of support.
