Psychotherapist
I am a bilingual Mental Health Counselor, fluent in English and Spanish, with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from CUNY Hunter College. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. I have experience working with individuals across the lifespan including children, teens, young adults, and adults. My background includes supporting BIPOC, first-generation, and Latina/o clients through challenges such as stress and anxiety, identity exploration, relationship concerns, and life transitions. I am especially interested in working with teenagers, young adults, and adults who are navigating these experiences and seeking personal growth.
My Approach
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and rooted in cultural humility. I strive to create a safe, welcoming space where you can be yourself without judgment. With a style tailored to your unique needs, our work blends flexibility and care to meet you where you are. I combine person-centered care with practical tools from cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, relational approaches, and other modalities to support your healing.
What To Expect
You are the protagonist in your story, and I’m here to help you embrace your strengths and face challenges with confidence. Working with me feels supportive, encouraging, and collaborative. When we work together, it feels supportive, encouraging, and collaborative. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, identity, or relationships, or just looking to understand yourself better, my goal is to help you feel seen, supported, and connected in a space that’s thoughtful, reflective, and genuine.
