Clinical Psychotherapist

I am Licensed Mental Health Counselor and proud Afro-Latina, born and raised in The Bronx. I’m fluent in both English and Spanish and earned my Master’s in Education in Mental Health Counseling from CUNY Hunter College. I provide individual therapy to adolescents and adults, with a special focus on supporting BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities.

My Approach

Trauma-informed, culturally responsive, creative, and rooted in empathy and collaboration. I like to bring in hands-on, expressive tools like sensory-focused art, music, creative writing/poetry, therapeutic gardening, and bibliotherapy to help clients work through emotions, reflect, and reconnect with themselves. I also pull from different approaches—like CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness, somatic practices, psychodynamic work, and play-based techniques—so we can find what feels right for you.

What To Expect

I believe therapy is a brave and deeply personal journey that calls for self-reflection, connection, and meaningful action. It can be hard to face parts of ourselves, our communities, and the world around us—and that’s not something anyone should have to do alone. In our work together, you’ll find empathy, validation, and a safe, judgment-free space to simply be yourself, explore your experiences, and continue growing on your path to healing and wellness.
