From Soil to Soul: A Nature-Based Workshop for Grounding, Reflection, and Renewal

Live In-Person

Workshop Description

Does life in the city ever feel like it moves faster than your nervous system can keep up with? Between responsibilities, transitions, and constant stimulation, many of us live in a near-continuous state of doing—rarely pausing long enough to breathe, notice, or simply be.

From Soil to Soul is a 2-hour, in-person, nature-based workshop designed for adults who are feeling burnt out, anxious, or stretched thin—and who are craving a moment of calm, connection, and restoration. This workshop offers a gentle invitation to slow down and reconnect through intentional, hands-on engagement with nature.

Together, we’ll explore how therapeutic gardening and mindful creative practices can support emotional regulation, reduce stress, and cultivate self-compassion. Through potting and caring for a plant, simple creative expression, guided journaling, and group reflection, you’ll experience how tending to something living can mirror—and support—the care you offer yourself.

Using accessible metaphors from nature, we’ll reflect on:

  • Roots — grounding, values, and inner stability
  • Soil — environment, nourishment, and support systems
  • Pruning — letting go of what no longer serves us
  • Growth cycles — patience, resilience, and realistic expectations

This workshop is especially supportive for those navigating life transitions, managing anxiety or burnout, or simply longing for a meaningful pause from the pace of everyday life. No gardening or artistic experience is needed—just curiosity, presence, and a willingness to get your hands in the soil.

You’ll leave with a planted reminder of this experience, along with practical insights into how slowing down, caring gently, and honoring natural rhythms can support your emotional well-being—both inside and outside the city.

Come as you are. Leave more rooted, restored, and connected—from soil to soul.
THIS WORKSHOP WILL BE A LIVE, IN-PERSON WORKSHOP MEETING AT OUR WHITE PLANS OFFICE LOCATION.

It is apparent that Bhava is the real deal. That they deeply care and are committed to the health and well being of both their clients and for their team. That is rare and wonderful!

- CB

I am convinced that my Bhava therapist is an angel and that this team is a team of angels doing beautiful, powerful work! Thank you!

- GM

I didn’t know how much of my unprocessed trauma was holding me back from living my best life before I started therapy at Bhava. I continue to be amazed at what I learn about myself and what I am able to handle now, through this work, that I wasn’t able to do before.

- TM

Before starting with my therapist at Bhava, I was also skeptical about therapy. I have learned so much about the process of therapy, I have learned to question my thoughts about my life and others in a way that has healed and strengthened my relationship not only with others, but most importantly with myself. Thank…

- DS

The relationship with my Bhava therapist is one I am most grateful for. The work isn’t always easy, but I always feel so much better after our sessions and always one step closer to reaching my fullest potential.

- BW

If it weren’t for the support and insight from my therapist, I shudder to think where I would be now. My therapist truly gets me and offers practical and honest feedback with no judgment that has been truly priceless and pivotal for my growth.

- SL

Throughout my life I have seen other therapists, and some very “high-profile” ones that were not very helpful at all. I was feeling very discouraged to try therapy again and only did so at the encouragement from a loved one. From the initial call through meeting and beginning my therapy I felt genuinely cared for,…

- JJ

I am so incredibly grateful to you for your work and for supporting people like me. I'm continuing to grow and challenge myself, and I have so much more self awareness and ways coping and thinking because of that work together
