Psychotherapist

I’m a licensed social worker with an MSW from NYU Silver and a candidate in psychoanalytic training at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies. I also hold an MFA in Musical Theatre Writing from NYU Tisch and a BA from NYU Gallatin. Before becoming a therapist, I wrote and produced musicals for 15 years. I’ve worked with middle schoolers in a NYC public school and adults ages 18 to 80. I currently see children, teens, and adults, with a special focus on early adolescence, LGBTQ+ clients, artists, and those navigating life transitions and identity exploration.

My Approach

My work is grounded in a relational, contemporary psychoanalytic framework, profoundly shaped by my theatre background. The therapeutic relationship guides our collaborative journey to develop a deeper understanding and fresh perspective on the experiences, relationships, and identities that have shaped who you are today. My goal is to help you live more authentically and navigate life’s shifts, strains, and surprises with greater ease.

What To Expect

I bring warmth, humor, curiosity, and creativity to the room, where sessions are collaborative and playful. I encourage clients of all ages to share their favorite books, movies, shows and music; as exploring what draws you to a story or how you identify with a character can open new windows of self-discovery. My work with children and teens involves regular meetings with parents, openly communicating about how to best support your child, while respecting their privacy and autonomy.
