Clinical Supervisor
I am a licensed clinical social worker. I earned my masters degree at the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College and have experience working in outpatient and inpatient mental health settings, and in schools. In work with clients, I predominantly draw from my experience training at the Ackerman institute for the Family and the Metropolitan Institute for Training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. I work with adolescents and adults to manage a range of problems including anxiety, depression, and trauma related disorders, as well as relationship and life stage challenges. I provide clinical supervision to other therapists on the Bhava team.
My Approach
I show up for clients with compassion and curiosity in order to create a space in which, together, we can gain a deeper understanding of experiences you’ve had, challenges you face, and strengths you possess. The more insight we have into ourselves and our feelings, the more power we have to make choices that move us towards the lives we wish to live.
What To Expect
In our work together, you can expect a space that feels calm, collaborative, and grounded. Sessions typically feel warm and conversational, with a balance of curiosity and gentle challenge when it’s helpful. I move at a pace that feels safe and manageable, but I will also help you stay engaged so our time together feels meaningful.
Ultimately, my goal is for you to feel seen, empowered, and more connected to yourself and the life you want to create.
