Alexandra Ramirez, LP-MSW
My name is Alexandra Ramirez, and my mission is to empower individuals through compassionate, effective psychotherapy. I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from Stony Brook University in 2012, and since then, I’ve dedicated my career to helping pre-teens, teens, and families navigate life’s challenges and discover their strengths.
For over a decade, I’ve worked in school-based settings, gaining a deep understanding of the unique pressures young people face (academic stress, social changes, family transitions), and emotional struggles. These challenges can feel overwhelming for students and parents alike. I believe every young person has the potential to thrive, and my passion is helping them turn obstacles into stepping stones for growth and success.
One of my core values is cultural awareness, especially in supporting Latino/Latinx families. I understand how family dynamics and cultural identity shape the healing process. My work focuses on fostering inclusive understanding and helping families strengthen their connections so they can support one another effectively.
Ultimately, my mission is to guide students and families toward hope and healing because every challenge can become part of a success story. Whether your child is struggling with school stress, emotional challenges, or family transitions, or you’re seeking guidance as a parent, I am here to help. Together, we’ll work toward practical strategies that bring clarity, confidence, and peace of mind.
If you’re ready to take the next step toward growth and well-being, I’m here to walk that journey with you.
